I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
