Intensive Russian Assaults Eliminate Power Across Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased attacks in the past few days

Overnight, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Nine people were hurt while local people in the city's east were plunged into darkness and dealt with disruption to water supplies, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a minor was lost their life in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southern area, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has demanded "real steps" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, Europe and the G7 - in supplying air defence systems and applying sanctions," mentioned in a online statement.

Authorities reported that 450 drones and over thirty missiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "cynical and calculated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were working to repair systems.

A wave of strikes damaged energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Multiple people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by local officials.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region came under heavy assaults during nighttime hours. A minor was killed and several individuals were wounded.

The attacks come after nights of air raids in the territory, parts of which remain under the control of invading troops.

The whole nation is on alert for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to detect.

Authorities told the media that Moscow was purposely seeking to demolish the country's energy grid, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and authorities were preparing for additional strikes.
